The Cairns Gallery is situated in the centre of the county town of Peebles. Housed within an unique 1930's building, originally designed as lawyers chambers by the noted architect J. D. Cairns, the gallery has wonderful views over the town to the hills beyond.

The Gallery provides a venue in which to showcase inspirational original artwork. We feature respected, established artists and many exciting and talented newcomers. Throughout the year exhibits change regularly, from mixed shows to joint or solo exhibitions. Also on display is a range of beautiful handmade jewellery and a varying selection of sculptures, bronzes and handcrafted ceramics

Our opening hours are Monday to Saturday 10am - 5pm
